Anderson grew up like many others watching the great Michael Jordan play. He adored him like many others and always held his commercial motto 'I wanna be like Mike' close. However, in Jordan's second stint with the Bulls and unlike many others, he noticed a young gun coming out of high school who had the potential (he uses that word loosely) to be even greater than Mike and immediately fell in love with his game. So for the past 13 years, he has been following Kobe Bean Bryant's every move, hoping one day the unthinkable might happen, only to lead him to follow the next phenom that will surpass them both. Anderson also grew up playing a lot of Madden since he had curfews in the dangerous slums of the Brooklyn streets. In wanting to be different from Giant/Jet fan peers, he randomly chose the New Orleans Saints and hasn't used a different team since. He now worships 'St. Reggie' like he does Kobe New Orleans VooDoo styleee!
Fresh off of an another grand Thanksgiving, a year in which I prepared a large majority of the big meal at home, I learned three valuable lessons: 1) The NFL needs to do revise their Thanksgiving Day lineup. 2) As great as the meal is on Thanksgiving, the leftovers consumed on the following days (or hours) are [...]

Anderson’s NFL Week 10 Power 10: controversial 4th down call keeps Power 10 intact 1) New Orleans Saints (9-0) – The Saints have been first on my Power 10 over the course of the past few weeks. However, I was strongly considering bumping them down in favor of the Indianapolis Colts given the way [...]

Anderson’s NFL Week 9 Power 10 1. New Orleans Saints (8-0) – The Saints just keep finding ways to win regardless of the score. After never trailing in their first 5 games, New Orleans has had to come from behind in their last 3 games played. While Sunday’s deficit against the Carolina Panthers was [...]

1) New Orleans Saints (5-0) – Finally, after defeating a team that has been number one on Anderson’s NFL Power 10 throughout this entire NFL season, the New Orleans Saints have leapfrogged into first place. After being tested in Week 4 against the Jets, many wondered how legitimate this Saints team was and how [...]

The 2009 NLCS starts tonight in what will be a rematch of last year’s NLCS. After quickly disposing of the team that many considered the NL favorites, the St. Louis Cardinals, the Los Angeles Dodgers will look to dispose of last year’s demons by avenging their 2008 playoff series loss to the Philadelphia Phillies. [...]

Anderson’s Week 5 NFL Power Rankings 1) New York Giants (5-0) – The Giants early season schedule seems to be a breeze early on given that they’ve already faced the Bucs, Chiefs, and Raiders. Nevertheless, credit needs to be given to teams that take of business when they’re supposed to. Eli Manning has [...]

Anderson’s NFL Power 10: Week 3 Edition Ideally, I would prefer to post these power rankings after the Monday Night game, but neither team would crack the Top 10 regardless of the outcome. So without further ado, here is this week’s NFL Power 10: 1) New York Giants (3-0) – The G-Men took care of business [...]

Note: These rankings have less to do with a team’s reputation and accomplishments in past seasons and more with how they’re projected to perform throughout the season based on talent, current performance, and injuries. 1) New York Giants (2-0) The cream of the crop right now in the NFL. Very impressive divisional victories against the Washington [...]

In our last article, we talked about how for most players, it wouldn’t surprise us at all if we found out they were on steroids on some PED. But there are still some players out there that we genuinely believe are au naturale. Some of our writers will share which players they would be shocked [...]

No team has been in the news this past offseason in the NFL more than the Denver Broncos, and yes that includes the Minnesota Vikings with their daily updates on Sportscenter in regards to their status with Brett Favre. The drama started when the Broncos let long-tenured coach Mike Shanahan go. I understand that the [...]
