Sad news to report this morning. Duke freshman guard Andre Dawkins lost his sister to a car accident over the weekend. She and their mother, who was also injured, were driving to Durham to watch their son play against St. John’s. Let’s all take a moment today to say a little prayer for Dawkins and his family. Our thoughts here at WtP are with him and me personally as a Carolina fan, will be rooting for him to succeed. I hope the crowd at the Dean Dome and every arena he visits for that matter gives him a standing ovation when the Blue Devils come to show they recognize the tough situation he’s in and that they are supporting him.
