So I decided in a previous post, that if I was going to Vegas, one of the three athletes I’d bring is Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher, Ross Ohlendorf, based on the notion that for a Vegas trip, you need a “brains of the operation” type person. Apparently, someone else thinks having a that type of person is a ‘power-move’ – U.S Secretary of Agriculture, Tom Vilsack.
Welcome the newest intern to the White House – Ross Ohlendorf.
Ross Ohlendorf has a special place on the Writing the Pine bench, as he was gracious enough to grant us our first interview. With that being said, from myself (formerly known as PineTimePlayer) and from the rest of the WTP family, we wish you nothing but the best of luck as you intern for the U.S Department of Agriculture. I’m sure the Princeton grad won’t be needing any though.
Check out/follow Ross Ohlendorf’s blog about the entire experience. http://rossohlendorf.mlblogs.com/
Oh, and follow us too.
