Sums up the weekend?
Keeping this entry short and sweet. Won’t gloat too much since a 6.5 game lead isn’t insurmountable. (see Mets 2008).
But it was a good series. Well-pitched and great contributions from all of the newcomers to the Yankees-Red Sox rivalry. Caught my first rivalry game live on Sunday night with PineTimePlayer. And the Stadium was buzzing. The chants of “Sweep” and “Steroids” still echo in my mind. I can only imagine how a playoff game is.
Hopefully will be back later with more thoughts and a question until next time:
What to do about Johnny Damon?
Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees

Fivetoolplayer won a championship his first and only season playing little league baseball as a member of the "Richmond Learning Center." His pitiful attempt to play soccer (2 own-goals, and 300 orange slices eaten) are only overshadowed by his even more pitiful attempt to be humorous. An attempt that misses so badly - it evokes memories of trips to the free throw line during a short-lived intramural basketball career. (Career points : 2)
