I have a hard time understanding your logic in threatening to sit out a year and re-enter the draft. How dare you Michael Crabtree.
1. You’re wasting a year of experience. Granted you came out of college early, but why would you waste a year when you could further develop your skills and physique?
2. Dez Bryant? Remember him? Yeah, apparently cornerback’s in the Big 12 Conference have a higher regard for him than you, and he’s in next year draft. Why would you put yourself in this position again? You got drafted behind Darrius Heyward-Bey, a guy who accomplished ZERO things in college. Aren’t you embarrassed enough?
3. You have a chance to step in and become the #1 wide reciever, the main guy, the go to guy, the face of the franchise. Every kid dreams to be the face of an NFL franchise. What the hell were you dreaming as a kid?
4. Finally, you say it’s because of money, and the contract you should be given. Explain to me in financial terms (if you can considering you went to Texas Tech) how turning down a multi-million dollar contract now, and sitting out a year WITHOUT GETTING PAID, makes you a more wealthier man? YOU’RE GOING TO WASTE A YEAR DOING NOTHING. YOU WON’T EVEN GET PAID.

Crabtree needs to get in and prove himself before hes even worth all the money hes bound to get. I think players instead of sitting out camps to hold out, they should participate in camps and practice and threaten to hold out the season. It gives them more leverage too, having already created a position in the games for themselves.
