HOW DARE YOU to everyone who even thinks Michael Vick should not be reinstated immediately. Look, by no means am I saying that dogfighting is acceptable. It’s not, and that’s why Vick has spent the last 23 months repaying his debt to society. How then, can the NFL or anyone else POSSIBLY say that he cannot go on with his life? Do we tell Emeril that he can’t cook when he burns a steak or breaks a plate? Did we tell Michael Phelps he can’t swim when he was getting stoned? Did we tell Ron Artest that he could no longer play in the NBA for going into the stands in Detroit? You get the point. So, why is it then, when Vick makes a mistake, we tell him he cannot continue on with his craft?
Maybe I’m the one that just does not get it. The gravity of Vick’s crimes outweighs that of athletes going into the stands and punching fans out, making it rain in strip clubs causing a gunfight to break out, and every other dumbass thing that Pacman Jones has done in the past. And I’m probably going to get “mauled” by animal lovers but I’m going to be as real as I can possibly be when I say, we’re talking about dogs here, people. If you wanna know my stance on this whole thing, watch the Allen Iverson “practice” tirade and replace the word “practice” with “dogs” and “game” with “life.” It should go something like this….”We talking about dogs here. Not life. No, no not life, but dogs. C’mon what is we really talkin’ about here? Dogs?!” And before anyone says something like “well pinetimeplayer, animals are life, yadda yadda yadda” Then you better not have a juicy steak in your mouth while gazing at the deer head on your wall from that time Pops and you decided to go hunting. Yes, those examples are vastly different than dog fighting. And do you know what the difference is? 23 gotdamn months.
In no way shape or form is Michael Vick above the law. Neither is the NFL.

lol, i love how you played this. "vick is not above the law" but "damn they just dogs…i'm just sayin". he basically played pokemon with dogs. but the real crime here isn't that he killed dogs or made them fight, its that he wasted them. koreans would have happily made some soup.

He didn't just fight dogs, he stole peoples pets from their back yards, broke their hips, legs, ect and used them as bait dogs for his to kill. This isn't just dog fighting, this is animal cruelty. People who say "it's just dogs" are the kind of people who treat their own badly. People who forget to feed their dog and realize it in the middle of the night and just say "oh I'll do it tomorrow" or expect their dog to sleep under the back porch if it's raining. How dare YOU.
And also, the anti vick protesters have just as much freedom of speech as you do so why don't you just shove it?
