Orlando Stuns Cleveland

Cleveland provided most of the highlights but Orlando came away with the victory.

I’ll admit it.  I totally did not expect the Magic to come in and steal a victory away from the Cavs.  And with LeBron and co. up 16 at one point, I felt good about my prediction.  And you know what?  I still do.  Despite the victory, I still don’t believe Orlando is in the same class as Cleveland.  Sure they did expose some weaknesses, Dwight Howard dominated inside, Rashard Lewis hit some HUGE shots, and the team in general got hot from outside, but I still can’t see Orlando spoiling the “dream” Finals match up of Kobe vs LeBron (the Nuggets have a better shot at doing that).  LeBron totally destroyed them on his way to 49 points but he didn’t get much help from his backcourt and his bench (though the frontcourt played admirably at least on the offensive end).  We’ll see what happens in the series.  I’ll still say the Cavs win in five.
